Meetup: Brighton Digital Festival - £5 App Day

Sat 10th Nov 2007 at 10 a.m.
Sensible Development, Pelham House, 25 Pelham Square, Brighton

A meet-up for programmers, web developers and designers to discuss and showcase their "£5 apps" - lightweight software created by one or two people who take a simple idea and run with it.

The discussion will range from technical (what tools/languages were used during development) to business (building communities, spreading the word, costs and rewards).

This is a special £5 app event, as part of the Brighton Digital Festival and will be running for the whole day (from 10am till 6pm). It will also take place at a different venue - the offices of Sensible Development who are sponsering the event.

There will be five sessions. Full details on, summary:

£5 App at the Brighton Digitial Festival

Wed 3rd Oct 2007

Just a brief pre-annoucement. We've got a date and location for the £5 App Day, during the Brighton Digital Festival. This will take place on the 10th of November (Saturday) at Pelham House (Pelham Square, near Sydney Street) - the offices of Sensible Development (who'll be sponsoring the event).

More details will follow, but the rough plan is to have a "day of £5 apps". Which will mean a mixture of talks (like the regular £5 App) and hopefully more interactive sessions/workshops. We're still sorting out all the details, but hopefully it should be good fun.

The £5app day went without a hitch and now there are plenty of write ups and a few photos of the day to peruse:
