Meetup: Brighton Digital Festival - £5 App Day

A meet-up for programmers, web developers and designers to discuss and showcase their "£5 apps" - lightweight software created by one or two people who take a simple idea and run with it.

The discussion will range from technical (what tools/languages were used during development) to business (building communities, spreading the word, costs and rewards).

This is a special £5 app event, as part of the Brighton Digital Festival and will be running for the whole day (from 10am till 6pm). It will also take place at a different venue - the offices of Sensible Development who are sponsering the event.

• 2pm-3.20pm A simple example of Social Media Marketing with FaceBook, Flickr and MySpace (Madhava and Premasagar) + Google's OpenSocial (Jon Markwell)
• 3.20pm-4.40pm Search Engine Optimisation (Paul Silver)
• 4.40pm-6pm A guide to successful Copy-writing (Ellen de Vries)
